May 28, The willow tea rooms
Monday, Glasgow
On my very last day in Scotland, I went with Helen and Emily, the two other Oregon ladies in the group, to have tea in the Willow Tea Rooms. This building and the interior design has been left unchanged since its creation in 1903, as designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The place was spectacular, and the tea was nice, too! The kind of design that Mackintosh was doing 100 years ago still stands today as unique and eye-catching.
