During my last semester of my library program, I traveled to Scotland as part of a class called Current Issues in Global Information Infrastructure. The class focused on special collections and archives.
Our class had six official library appointments: the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe), St. Andrews University Library, the Mitchell Library, the library at the University of Glasgow, the National Library of Scotland, and the Library at Innerpeffray.
Dean Alexander of the School of Library and Information Management traveled with the twelve students and our instructor Dr. Andrew Smith, who is originally from Scotland, outside of Glasgow. He beautifully orchestrated our schedule to include plenty of recovery time and spare time for sight-seeing.
This blog outlines my adventures, which can be accessed through the drop-down menu from the "Home" button above. Enjoy!
